Social Venture Partners Waterloo Region (SVPWR), a partnership of community-minded individuals who share their skills and financial support to build the resilience of our local charitable sector, is proud to announce the establishment of the SVP Emergency Fund. This fund will provide unrestricted support to registered charities most affected by this pandemic.
“As charities in Waterloo Region encounter substantial increases in demand due to this crisis, SVPWR wanted to think outside the box when it comes to supporting them. This fund will do exactly that. SVPWR staff and Partners are ready to work together to catalyze change in our broader community.”
Rose Greensides, SVPWR’s Executive Director.
SVPWR will work with community leaders, local funders, and charitable agencies to ensure there is a collaborative effort in dispersing funds. This will ensure resources are granted to the organizations that need support most.
