Child Witness Centre is the SVP Teens' 2020 Community Grant recipient!

After careful consideration, the SVP Teens chose to award a grant of $3,500 in unrestricted funding to the Child Witness Centre, a Kitchener-based charity providing support, education and advocacy for children and youth who are or may become victims or witnesses of abuse or crime.  Read More »

Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region becomes our 10th Investee!

SASC was founded in 1989 with an anonymous gift of $1000 and the tireless work of 25 volunteers who started a 24-hour support line for survivors of sexual violence. SASC has since grown to a staff of 20 and 65 volunteers who provide individual and group counselling, advocacy and education programs, and a dedicated Anti-Human Trafficking program, along with the support line.
