Erik Harmon is the chief administrative officer for Primo Center, which provides unconditional shelter and trauma-informed care to homeless mothers and children. Most recently he was the executive director of the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce where he led the chamber’s economic development efforts.
Erik has deep experience in strategy, operations and marketing across multiple industries. Previously Erik served as deputy director of the City of Chicago’s Innovation Delivery Team where he was responsible for a number of initiatives focused on improving the experience and opportunities for small businesses in the City of Chicago. He has also served as senior budget analyst at the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) and the director of operations for a supplementary insurance provider, done product marketing for Electronic Arts and Pepsico, and executed retail strategy for Sears Holdings.
Additionally, Erik has served on the board of directors for The Enterprising Kitchen, a Chicago nonprofit that helped women gain skills to enter the workforce.
He earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and his BA in business administration from the California State University, Dominguez Hills.
