SVP Waterloo Region respects the Accelerator Centre’s March 12 decision to suspend all client meetings, aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Accordingly, SVP Waterloo Region staff will be working from home until future notice; please contact us via e-mail.
All external meetings (i.e.: involving Investees, Partners, Teens, or community members) will either be hosted via video/conference call or rescheduled until April 2020.
Over the next week, we will reach out to our Partners, Investees, SVP Teens, and community stakeholders to reschedule or shift existing meetings to a video/conference call format.
How can I support my community?
Maintain, and if possible, send extra support to the organizations you care about – now and in the coming months.
Were you planning on attending a charitable event? Consider making your ticket purchase a donation, instead of asking for a refund if the event is now canceled, to show your support. Go online and make an additional contribution at a level that you would have made in attendance. Your financial support aligns with the values we strive for at SVPWR and stands in solidarity with the charitable sector through this challenging time.
Also, consider directly supporting our SVPWR Investees, who are facing rapid changes to their programming and operations, especially, in many cases, considering the announced school closures. Click here to see a full list of our Investees (current and alumni) plus our Teens Grant recipients and visit their websites to see how your support can make all the difference.
