SVP Vancouver offers capacity building assistance to our Investees (non-profits we work with). SVP Partners and staff offer time and expertise to help Investees scale their impact and become high-performing, sustainable organizations.
Types of capacity building support
We are available for:
- Phone a friend sessions – 30-minute phone calls with one of our Partners.
- Brainstorming sessions – 2-hour sessions with Partners who have expertise in Investees’ area of interest and can provide high-level advice.
- Project work – Ranges from 1-6 months. We can identify a Partner who can take on a project and work with the Investee to see it through to fruition.
- Shared services – additional assistance in three priority capacity building areas. See the Shared Services page for details.
Support types vary in intensity and length of engagement and are centred around nine capacity building areas.
