Let’s toast the work we’ve done together!
There may not be a bar at this AGM, but that doesn’t mean we can’t share a drink. Below are recipes for a Negroni and a Nogroni. They’re easy to make and don’t require many ingredients.

The Negroni
2 parts London dry gin – Gordon’s or Beefeater
2 parts Martini Rossi (optional)
1 part Campari
1 part Aperol

Pour over a rocks glass filled with big ice cubes. Add a squish of fresh orange and garnish with an orange peel.

The Nogroni (mocktail)
2 parts Tonic Water
1 part non-alcoholic red wine
1 part Seedlip non-alcoholic spirit

Pour over a rocks glass filled with big ice cubes. Add a squish of fresh orange and garnish with an orange peel.

Let’s eat together from afar!
Care to join us for a meal during the AGM? We encourage you to order some delicious food from our friends and Alumni Investee Potluck Catering Society. There are many items to choose from, and they have generously created a charcuterie and cheese board for our AGM.

Order charcuterie (deadline to order: Tuesday, June 23, 4:00 pm)

You can pick up your order between 1-3:00 pm on AGM day at 30 W Hastings Street. Potluck is able to deliver up to 10 orders to Vancouver addresses. If you’d like your order to be delivered, get your order in fast and put “delivery request” in the notes. Potluck will contact you directly to let you know if they can deliver to your address.

You can also make a donation to support Potluck’s work in the community. Every $5 goes towards making a nutritious and hot meal for a resident of the Downtown Eastside. Donate to Potluck

This year we’ve invited five of our current and alumni Investees to speak about the power of Collaboration During COVID. AGM guests will split into Breakout Rooms to enjoy two x 15 minute info and Q&A sessions:

Breakout Room 1
In this room, Partners will hear from Helen Stortini, Executive Director of Growing Chefs!, and Alexa Pitoulis, Interim Executive Director of Fresh Roots, about how they pivoted LunchLAB from a school  program to the LunchLAB Chefs for Families community initiative.
Moderated by SVP Social Impact Coach Meagan Sutton

Breakout Room 2
In this room, Irene Elhaimer, Executive Director of Mom 2 Mom, Emily Anne King, Vice President and Co-founder of Backpack Buddies, and Anna Forst, Executive Director of Writers’ Exchange, will talk about collaborating during COVID-19.
Moderated by SVP Communications Manager Trista Baldwin
