Meet Marnie, SVP board member since December 2018. She brings 20+ years of non-profit experience to the table as an employee, independent consultant, and board member for various organizations. Marnie has always considered herself an advocate for young people. She has taught swimming to kids with disabilities, represented criminalized youth as a law student, and counselled and educated teens on sexual and reproductive health.
Currently, Marnie is the Director of Youth Services for one of Vancouver’s largest social service agencies—Family Services of Greater Vancouver—where her programs largely respond to the critical needs of youth who experience homelessness.
