Envisioning the future with Kinbrace

Posted by SVP Vancouver

SVP Investee brings stakeholders together to plan and dream

On April 5 & 6, 2019, Co-Lead Partner, Tom Ligocki, facilitated Kinbrace’s strategic visioning session.

Kinbrace board, staff, volunteers, current and former refugee claimants, former board members, and three SVP Partners brainstormed, debated and discovered a shared vision for Kinbrace—for near future and the next 10 years.

In the next few years, Kinbrace wants to focus on delivering a more comprehensive suite of critical refugee support services, including adding staff to provide refugee legal representation, wellness counselling, and volunteer coordination. In due course, Kinbrace aspires to replicate its community elsewhere in the Lower Mainland with additional housing and staff.

The information gathered in this session will be succinctly put into writing, but in the meantime, have a look at these wonderful visuals created in real-time over 11 hours of intense and productive work.

Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed.
