Adaline Klemmedson earned a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors in Early Childhood/Elementary Education at the University of Arizona. She is now a retired hospital administrator and a former 3rd grade school teacher. Adaline is very involved in the Tucson nonprofit community. She lends her expertise in development/fundraising, marketing, public relations, board development and governance, volunteer management, strategic planning, and financial management to several organizations.
Adlaine first heard about SVP through a colleague. She was prompted to join by “the idea of being able to provide expertise in a variety of areas to deserving organizations that needed help in furthering their mission.” She got her first dose of philanthropy in her early years of teaching. Adaline’s expertise in grant making has been a major asset to our Investment Team. She sites “being involved in the selection process of a beneficiary” as her favorite SVP experience so far.
