You met us through Fast Pitch 2021…Get to know SVP Tucson!

Who is SVP Tucson?

SVP Tucson is a 501c3 Nonprofit that is a part of the global Social Venture Partners network. SVP practices engaged philanthropy, an innovative approach for social impact. We leverage contributions of money, professional expertise and influence from community members to grow the most promising solutions and leadership potential in the social sector. Working together, we make transformational change.

SVP is both local and global. On the one hand, this is philanthropy rooted in your backyard. Our Partners invest money, time, and skills in local nonprofits. On the other hand, our Partners are part of a 4500+ global network of philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and change-makers.

We are people for whom improving our community is part of our life’s journey.

We are volunteers, parents, community leaders, philanthropists – a global network of local partners committed to a better and more just tomorrow for all people. We see the chasm between the challenges in our world, and the scale at which we are tackling those challenges.

Locally in Tucson, we have 120 Partners both individuals and businesses. We invest in high-potential nonprofits in priority areas of focus including early childhood education, workforce development, racial and gender justice, and those serving historically marginalized communities. Fast Pitch is one of our most popular programs, and we do SO MUCH MORE!
