While many investors focus on for-profit opportunities, impact investments can enable nonprofits to access capital beyond traditional philanthropic gifts. Impact investments in nonprofits can provide gap funding, enable earned revenue models, and even attract additional philanthropic resources. SVP Partners working with nonprofit partners should be familiar with impact investing as another capacity building area.
