Sherri Wolson likes to joke that she joined SVP to make up for all the bad things she did as a lawyer. Although she likes antitrust law and appellate litigation, her true passions include early childhood education, nonprofit capacity building and board governance.
Sherri and her husband, Neil Black, joined SVP in 2006. She has chaired two new grant committees, the Portfolio Grant Committee, and the Education Collective Action Team. Sherri has served on a number of local boards and currently serves on the boards of Child Care Resources and SVP.
Sherri has an AB from Stanford University and a JD from Stanford Law School. When she isn’t volunteering, she can usually be found working on her tennis game, exploring new restaurants or driving carpool.
