Krischanna Roberson is the Supervisor of Equity for the Bellevue, WA School District where she works on systemic racial equity transformation for adults and students. Prior to this position she served as the first Black woman elected to the Bellevue School Board, while working as a Director and Adjunct Faculty for Bellevue College. She has an extensive background in business operations and finance working for companies like Coca Cola and AXA Financial.
Krischanna spends her weekends working on her dissertation for a Doctorate in Educational Policy, where her research focus is the level of cultural competency students gain as a result of taking required diversity courses, through Northeastern University. Krischanna also earned a Masters in Education Policy with a focus on Diversity & Equity from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelors in Business Management from Saint Leo University.
She is a Bellevue Youth Link Board Member, African American Advisory committee member for the Bellevue Police Department and has served as Co-Chair on the Bellevue College Diversity Equity & Inclusion Council.
Krischanna is also a proud native New Yorker and mother of two who inspire her to be the change that she wishes to see in the world!
