John Baughn resides in North Seattle and has been involved in several civic and volunteer roles since retiring in 2004 after a 24 year career at Accenture.
As a partner at Accenture, John had various leadership roles in the consulting and outsourcing practices. Much of his career was spent developing and implementing large enterprise software systems and business capabilities for Fortune 500 clients, primarily in the Communications industry.
Born and raised in Seattle, John is a supporter of the University Of Washington Foster School Of Business and is currently Chair of the Advisory Board for the Masters of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program. He has also served on several advisory boards of small startups, was Board President of Sand Point Country Club and has served in other civic and community board roles.
Since retiring John has traveled extensively exploring remote parts of the country and world as an avid fly fisherman. He also enjoys golf, sports and local volunteer opportunities in the Northwest after a career that had him on the road full time for many years.
