Claire joined SVP with her husband Matthew Brannock in 2015 to give back to the community in impactful ways, including providing skills based pro bono work.
Claire Taylor loves to ask difficult questions and determine elegant ways to find the answer. Claire is committed to explaining complicated and technical concepts in approachable ways. She currently works as an external consultant and works with organizations to collect information and data to inform important and actionable decision making. Claire has worked with clients from a variety of sectors, ranging from state agencies to non-profits to Fortune 150 companies. Through her training and experience, Claire brings an insightful mix of scientific rigor and practical application to everything she does.
Claire graduated from Rice University with a BA in Statistics and Psychology before going on to earn her MA and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University. Outside of her work, Claire enjoys time in the kitchen, feeding her family and friends, as well as traveling to explore new cities and ski new mountains.
Matt is a Site Reliability Engineer at Google, supporting the build and testing infrastructure. He joined Google in 2010 when it acquired a Seattle company and has worked in its YouTube, Android, and Chrome divisions.
Matt was born and raised in Tampa, and moved to Seattle in 2008 after graduating from New College of Florida with a B.A. in Physics. Prior to Google, he worked for two years as a technical consultant in the legal industry. In his spare time, Matt enjoys traveling, Sounders games, sailing, hiking, skiing, and racquetball. He also volunteers with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Claire and Matt married in 2014 and live in Belltown.
