Bill and his family have been in the Pacific Northwest for a little over fifteen years, which makes him a long timer in some circles and a new comer in others. Prior to arriving in the Seattle area, Bill spent time in New York, Washington D.C., and the Bay Area. Bill’s professional background is in Information Technology and Consulting, including stints at Levi Strauss, Chevron and Microsoft. To get up to speed in the nonprofit sector, Bill has completed a non-profit management certificate at U.W., attended a non-profit performance management program at Harvard, and was a member of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound for two terms. He is been a long term member of the SVP Finance Community of Practice as well as serving on a new grant committee and portfolio grant committee.
Bill’s professional experience ranges from implementation of IT infrastructure, to consulting management with brief side trips into venture integration and strategic planning. His passions within the non-profit sector are performance management, and financial literacy.
In addition to the non-profit course work, Bill has earned a B.A. in International Affairs, and a M.B.A. both from The George Washington University.
On the personal front, Bill and his wife Maria have two grown children, one in the nonprofit sector, and one in data science. In his spare time Bill can be found either on the tennis court or on the hiking trails.
