Originally from Virginia, Bruce has lived in the Seattle area for over 20 years after stints in Los Angeles and upstate New York. He’s worked in various software engineering roles in technology companies from as small as three people up to Fortune 100. His current focus is on cybersecurity and data privacy, including a strong desire to help others improve the security of their organizations. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three whippets.
Bruce has a Bachelors in Applied Physics from Caltech and a PhD in Applied Physics from Cornell University.
Amanda has worked for a number of technology companies in the Seattle area since arriving here over 20 years ago. She has a strong interest in improving educational teaching techniques, particularly for STEM subjects. She has also worked as a volunteer for the city of Redmond’s budgeting by priorities process. In her spare time, in addition to spending time with her husband and dogs, she enjoys sewing, embroidery, and organizing.
