Aaron is happy to find himself in the role of Interim Executive Director for SVP Seattle, supporting and guiding the staff and board as they continue to partner with others to create a Puget Sound region where everyone thrives regardless of income or race, and helping to prepare the organization for its search for a permanent leader.
Aaron previously worked with SVP from 2000-2008. He was the third hire for what was then a new and evolving organization. He spent the last several years in New York City at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, where as part of grantee portfolio management teams conceived and managed multi-year grants and growth capital aggregation initiatives for multi-site youth-service organizations implementing ambitious growth and quality improvement initiatives. His early career included fundraising and operations work for health-focused nonprofit organizations. He grew up in very rural Montana (Trout Creek – look it up!) and gets back to Montana as often as he can to visit his family, who now live just outside of Missoula.
