Staff Performance Review and Compensation System – East African Community Services

East African Community Services (EACS) is looking for a skilled volunteer to work with the ED, develop a system for staff performance reviews, career development, and compensation to increase staff satisfaction, retention, consistency, and equity.

Project Background

EACS has grown in budget and staff in the last 3 years and needs help with reviewing their current staff performance reviews and compensation systems.

Work to be Performed

Assist the ED in creating overall staff compensation philosophy based on templates & best practices
Jointly review compensation against market, philosophy
Support ED in developing timeline and process for performance reviews, compensation updates based on best practices
Support ED in documenting and communicating process/system to staff,
Create a timeline & budget request to update compensation as required
Develop needed forms and materials for performance & compensation review

Optional additional deliverables:

Review and update role job descriptions and map career path as appropriate
Review and update relevant sections of an employee handbook as needed
