To ensure strong Board Leadership, continuity and ease of transition between Board Chairs, Summer Search is seeking an SVP Partner to help revise current and develop new policies and procedures for identifying and training board leadership, in particular the Chair Elect. The Partner will assess their current practices, help define leadership roles/duties.
Examples of Work
- Review current procedures for selecting and training Chair Elect
- Research regarding best practices
- Meeting with Governance Committee members to discuss improvements to current practices
- A document detailing recommendations for Chair Elect selection and training, and a detailed description of Chair Elect responsibilities
