SVP Fast Pitch Announces Quarterfinalists in Innovation Competition Tickets on Sale for the Final Showdown!

Seattle, WA – Seattle is about to crown the next wave of great social-change ideas, and you can be a part of the action! Join us at the Final Showdown of Social Venture Partners’ 2015 Fast Pitch Seattle program, a business pitch competition for social impact entrepreneurs. We’ll hear from the most promising innovators and award $375,000 to both non-profit and for-profit endeavors. Be prepared for these ideas to blow you away!

Fast Pitch has selected just over 50 quarterfinalists from a competitive applicant pool who will now compete for recognition—and funding! The innovations they propose include: Converting waste heat from cooking into clean electricity. Innovative support for at-risk youth and prison inmates. New tools for teaching – through the arts, on the water, or for kids on the autism spectrum. View a complete list of the quarterfinalists here!

The competition culminates in the SVP Fast Pitch Final Showdown on October 27 at McCaw Hall, where we plan to award $375,000 – $125,000 in grants to nonprofits and $250,000 in investments in for-profit endeavors. Finalists will make five-minute pitches to a panel of celebrity judges and an audience of 1,000, including YOU. Tickets are now on sale. Get tickets now at early-bird prices, which will go up on September 30. Tickets are partially tax-deductible.

You can also support our entrepreneurs with a donation, which makes you eligible to win two tickets to the Final Showdown!
