Meet the 2015 Finalists: Play Works Studio

Posted by Deborah Drake

PlayWorkStudioPlay Works Studio designs science games for girls and boys in the form of a robot gaming platform that combines features from robot toys and online collectable/trading cards. Their educational toys create gender-neutral play experiences while promoting a sense of equality at an early age. Founder and lover of Legos since her own childhood, Adriana Moscatelli is on a mission to inspire children to discover a passion for science and technology while having fun.

“We want to see millions of girls and boys having so much fun playing with our collectable robot games that they won’t notice they are learning logical, procedural, spatial and probabilistic reasoning; the core skills required for a successful career in any STEM field.”

The White House stated that increasing the number of women engaged in science and technology is critical to the Nation’s success. Their products do exactly that.
