Sandra Cavanaugh is the chief executive officer of Russell’s US private client services business. In this role, Sandy serves as the senior executive overseeing Russell’s intermediary relationships in the bank, brokerage, insurance, and other advisory channels. She is responsible for setting strategic direction for the private client services business and is a member of Russell’s executive committee and the global leadership forum, as well as serving as a trustee of the Russell Investment Company mutual fund board.
Sandy has built a long track record of success growing firms in a variety of business cycles, including start-up, turnaround, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Russell in 2010, Sandy held senior roles with several major financial institutions where she drove superior financial and market performance.
Sandy holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Finance from California State University, Fresno. She is a member of Russell’s global risk management committee, and sits on the board of the United Way of King County
