Over a 30-year career, Dan Ross has held a variety of leadership positions in and around the transportation industry. Most recently he was the senior director of strategy at the DHL Exel Supply Chain where he developed growth strategy, led mergers and acquisitions due diligence teams, and drove strategic partnership initiatives. Prior to joining DHL, he served as a principal at Mercer Management Consultant and controller at Schneider National. Dan retired in 2008 and now devotes his time to work in the nonprofit sector, where he finds many opportunities to apply his business experience. He currently serves as board chair of SVP Boston.

What do you love to do in your free time?
Bike ride, travel, and spend time with my two grandsons.

I once ran (unsuccessfully) for local public office.

Providing educational and employment opportunities to disadvantaged children, youth and families.

To learn, to share, and to recharge my batteries. I always find the conference inspiring.
