Sue Foley, Encore Fellows Program Coordinator

Sue contracted with SVP Portland as an Encore Fellows Program Coordinator in 2021, while still a fellow herself. Working with her teammate Linda, she focuses primarily on stewardship by working with current fellows to track details during the course of their fellowships.

After retiring from Intel, Sue began her fellowship in 2020 with the Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA) in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health.  In her role as a community education coordinator, she works to increase visibility of the program, whose mission is to help young people (ages 15-25) who are experiencing a first episode of psychosis.  The two-year EASA program has successfully helped almost 2,000 young people since 2001 stay on their normal life paths.

Sue’s fellowship as a coordinator with EASA dovetails nicely with her professional career that spanned 10 years with Intel in project managing intel.com web analytics and working in sales operations.  Before that, she was with Tektronix for 20 years as a project manager for tektronix.com and in public relations.

Sue grew up in North Dakota and has called Oregon her home for 40 years.  In her spare time, you can find her hiking and skiing with her husband, and enjoying reading, cooking, gardening and relearning how to play the piano.
