Daniela Vasan graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Spanish Literature and Culture and Middle Eastern Studies with a focus in Arabic. After graduating, she joined Teach For America and taught for four years in Atlanta, also earning a Master’s in Education in Math Education from Georgia State University. Daniela was inspired to work in a mission-focused environment and impact educational outcomes for under-resourced communities. She joined Charter School Partners as a Principal Fellow and moved to Minneapolis where she partnered with Hiawatha Academies and founded their second elementary school, Hiawatha Leadership Academy-Northrop. Recently, Daniela transitioned to being a Partner of The Wildflower Foundation. Drawn to their approach to social change, she is working with them in a fundraising and development capacity.
She and her spouse, Josh Reimnitz, have been SVP Partners since 2011. Daniela serves on the SVP Equity Team, the ThrivEd board, volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and fosters dogs through Underdog Rescue.
