After a thorough due diligence process and heartfelt pitches from two finalists, SVP Partners voted to name New Vision Foundation as SVP Minnesota’s newest Investee! New Vision Foundation creates pathways to success by motivating disadvantaged youth in Minnesota (primarily African immigrant youth ages 13-18) and the developing world through digital literacy; engage responsible companies in IT philanthropy; and inspire progress toward global sustainable development.
New Vision Foundation will receive up to $75,000 in financial grants over three years and 4x that value in expert consulting through an SVP relationship. SVP is excited to work shoulder-to-shoulder with New Vision on capacity building and sustainable growth projects.
First runner up, Sisterhood Boutique will receive a one-time grant of $2,500 and the potential for a single limited scope, short-term capacity building project.
Sisterhood Boutique encourages East African young women to connect and evolve as leaders and entrepreneurs by creating space to explore, express and educate each other and their community.
Congratulations to both of these passionate and promising nonprofits on receiving SVP grants. Thank you for the work you do to empower and elevate under-resourced Somali/East African teens!
