  • One of their current interns just got accepted into the Public Allies program to do a very competitive internship and was placed with Boy Scouts of America.
  •  They’ve expanded programming to include more 2-wheeled adventure for their interns.    As part of that effort, they’re taking their 2nd Annual Bike Camping Trip to Baker Park Reserve.
  • They’ve increased internships from 16 to 20 annually

Contact SVP Lead Partners Guff Van Vooren or Bob Boucher to learn more about the following engagement opportunities.

Connections to individual & corporate funders
Full Cycle, working closely with Meristem, have developed a prospectus that lays out their Three Year Growth plan.  They have already secured unprecedented funding from the Otto Bremer Foundation, but they still need connections to potential individual and corporate funders.

WordPress skills for 1/2 day
SVP Partners have been working with Full Cycle to develop their marketing strategy.  You can help in this effort by updating the Full Cycle homepage.  If you have WordPress experience and are able to donate just a half day of your time, contact Matt Tennant TennantM@puc-mn.org and Jennie Tollefson jenniel.olson@gmail.com  It will be a half day well spent for a great org!

Full Cycle has a new facility for training interns!  But they could use the following supplies to benefit the classroom.

i-Pad with credit card processing capabilities – As Full Cycle expands their potential to do off site bike sales like the one they just had at the U of M, they are recognizing how critical it is to have an i-pad with credit card capability to serve the potential customers they are losing due to their cash or check only limitation.

Small work tables

Computers – For intern and staff to help youth research jobs, develop resumes, write cover letters, etc.

Used bikes

Metal stools

For all in-kind donations contact Matt Tennant at TennantM@puc-mn.org

Marketing Strategy
With their expansion comes the opportunity to have additional classrooms.  Joyce is developing a strategy to market their program to potential students and raise awareness in their new neighborhood.  SVP Partner Jennie Tollefson is beginning to work with them on this project later this summer.  Join the team!

Board Development
With the school’s growth, comes a need for the board to develop into a governance board as opposed to a managing/hands-on board.  If this is something you have experience with, you can join SVP partner Sarah Curfman in working with Joyce on this project.

Developing a professional prospectus
As Joyce grows, they are approaching more funders.  To show that they are strategic about their growth, where the funds are going, and why Joyce is a strong investment, Joyce will begin work on a prospectus for potential funders.

Guest readers – Joyce is looking for volunteers to read and visit the classroom.  co

Paint – Joyce is still looking for a couple volunteers to finish painting the office.

If you’d like to volunteer contact Sarah Clyne at sarah@joycepreschool.org
