Mr. Cope founded Interphase, a Dallas-based computer hardware company with around 350 employees in 1974, took it public in 1984, and retired in 1994. Since then he as has been an active Angel Investor and advisor applying his experiences to numerous start up companies, many of them focused on social impact and quality of life issues for seniors and persons with disabilities. He is a mentor in the Health WildCatters Accelerator for healthcare-related companies. Mr Cope is also an active supporter of the musical arts community.
