Jon is an entrepreneur with thirty years of experience building businesses. He initially founded AudioPack Technologies, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of wireless communications devices. AudioPack grew to 130 employees and sales of $25 million before it was acquired by Ultra Electronics, a publicly-traded UK aerospace and defense firm.
After transitioning out of AudioPack, Jon founded Noom Enterprises, providing advisory services for start-up and growth-oriented companies, and Weybridge Investments, which invests in privately-held companies. Jon currently serves as CEO of Smart Hotels Group, a firm developing LEED-certified hotels on college and medical campuses.
Jon is a member of the Leadership Cleveland class of 2001, a partner with Social Venture Partners Cleveland, a member of the advisory board of think[box] (an invention and commercialization center at Case Western Reserve University), a former Mentor with the Cleveland Foundation Civic Innovation Lab, a member of the North Coast Angel Fund, and serves on several privately-held company boards. He is the president of the Rivergate Foundation and serves on the board of CMSD Rows, a crew program for students of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
Jon received his BA from Harvard College and his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
