Gargi is a marketer with over 20 years of experience across multiple industries and marketing functional areas. She has a passion for pioneering new marketing techniques to help brands connect with people in an ever-changing consumer landscape and enjoys both the creative and analytical aspects involved in orchestrating marketing campaigns.
Gargi started her career in the notoriously competitive music business in New York City, working in marketing at both independent record labels and major label RCA Records, where she was a product manager for high profile recording artists. She also spent time in a more traditional marketing manager role at Pepsi-Cola as well as on the agency side creating some of the earliest social media efforts for top brands such as Target and Nestle. She has been with Progressive for the past seven years, where she’s led major advertising campaigns and is most recently leading major marketing initiatives within its Commercial Lines division.
As a devoted music fan and pop culture junkie, Gargi is easily engaged in any conversation about music, fashion, movies, or good TV shows. She enjoys travel and socializing at her favorite Tremont bars and restaurants.
Gargi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
