Jerry Dillenburg is an investment services industry senior executive with over 25 years of compliance, finance, operational, corporate governance and management expertise. He has considerable experience collaborating and problem-solving with boards, investment advisers, law firms, independent audit firms, and other service providers in the investment management and mutual fund industries.
Jerry is an independent director on the board of the E-Valuator Risk Managed Strategy Funds, a mutual fund complex consisting of six funds managed by Systelligence, LLC, a Minnesota-based investment adviser.
Throughout his career, Jerry has held several high-level positions in the mutual fund industry, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) and Chief Operating Officer. He has been heavily involved in all aspects of mutual fund board of trustees and audit committee meetings, and he has led compliance programs, including administering sub-adviser oversight programs and managing several SEC examinations. He has also been active on committees at the Investment Company Institute, the industry’s leading global trade organization.
Jerry was one of three managing partners at Aston Asset Management, LLC (Aston), which was formed in 2006 upon sale from ABN AMRO. Aston operated initially as the sole subsidiary of Highbury Financial, Inc. and then as an independent affiliate of Affiliated Managers Group (AMG). As CFO at Aston, Jerry was responsible for overseeing the financial statements and related independent audits. In addition, he managed operations and third-party back-office service provider relationships. He helped lead the integration of Aston into AMG Funds, LLC in 2016, when he became CCO at AMG Funds. Prior to Aston, he was responsible for mutual fund operations and compliance at ABN AMRO and Alleghany (CT&T) Funds.
Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with High Honors from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Upon graduation, he became a Certified Public Accountant and practiced for seven years at KPMG Peat Marwick, specializing in investment services clients. After KPMG, he also volunteered during tax seasons for the Center for Economic Progress for over 10 years, preparing and reviewing tax returns for low-income families.
Jerry was raised in Aurora (IL) and lived in Chicago for nearly 25 years. He currently resides in Clarendon Hills with his wife and three children.
