Celine Fitzgerald was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago but has left pieces of herself in New York where she attended Fordham University and in Milan, Italy, where she attended SDA Bocconi receiving her Masters in Fashion Management. After a handful of years working within the luxury goods space in the Big Apple, Celine finally returned to Chicago five years ago and plans on staying.
Celine is a dedicated and empathic philanthropist at heart. After completing her MBA at Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business, while interning at the Family Business Center, she has transitioned into opening a family office with her father. One of the office’s three pillars is philanthropy which has intrigued Celine from an early age. Ever since her father took her to a local PADS shelter in Palatine, she has not stopped looking for ways to give back to the local community.
Celine is a proud board member of three noteworthy organizations here in Chicago. She sits on the Chicago Associate Board of Blessings in a Backpack, which aims to end childhood hunger. She gladly carries on a Fitzgerald family tradition with a board seat at the esteemed Newberry Library, Chicago’s independent research library. And last but not least Celine is a trustee for the Union League Boys & Girls Club, which serves 15,000 youth in the Chicagoland area. In 2019, she was the 42nd Annual Gala Chair which happened to coincide with the 100th Anniversary year. After increasing attendance by nearly 100 people and raising $445K she has been asked to chair again with a 25% goal increase!
When not attending a nonprofit meeting Celine can be found at Webb & O’Neill Capital alongside her father learning the family business, banking. She stems from a long line of bankers on the Fitzgerald side and is developing an understanding of the “ins & outs” of the financial institution.
Celine still has a passion for fashion, values her family & friend time and enjoys a regular routine.
