Abbie Castiglione is the chief operating officer for the University of Chicago, Urban Labs, a policy research that identifies promising interventions, rigorously evaluates them, and partners with policymakers to scale effective programs across five urban areas—Crime Prevention, Education, Health, Poverty, and Energy & Environment. In her role, she oversees business operations, organizational design, and integration across the Labs.
She is also an entrepreneur, and co-founder of Quantified, a social venture that develops, designs, and delivers metrics for nonprofits. She is very passionate about using data and analytics to help create social change. Abbie formerly served as the co-chair of Booth’s Social Impact Club and on the associate board of North Lawndale College Prep.
Abbie holds a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a MS in industrial/organizational psychology from California State University, and a BS in business management from DePaul University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, live music, dancing, beach volleyball, and spending time with friends and family.
