Ms. Clerici, a native of Pittsburgh, retired to Charleston in 2008. Sandi received a degree in Economics from Chatham College and an M.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic University. Sandi spent twenty years in the field of advanced engineering and manufacturing operations management with consumer goods companies, which included Winchester Arms and General Electric. She then shifted her operational experience to private school management, serving as President of Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy in Wheeling, W.V. Despite a plan to retire, Sandi returned to school management in Charleston, serving as interim upper school Principal at Porter-Gaud School and interim Head of School at Trident Academy. After completing an assignment as interim Executive Director of The Preservation Society of Charleston, she now serves as CFO.
Ms. Clerici has served on the boards of various non-profits, including the YWCA of Wheeling, Victorian Wheeling, The Children’s Museum of Wheeling, and the advisory board of Wheeling Jesuit University’s Graduate School of Business. In Charleston, she serves on the Board of Trident Academy and is active with the Preservation Society of Charleston, Metanoia, and various education-related activities. Sandi has a keen interest in ensuring strong, mission-centered and sustainable non-profit entities by instilling operational discipline and control, and strategic management goals.
