SVP International

SVP Teens

Since 2013, SVP Teens has fundraised over $15,000 for local charities, and volunteered countless hours.

SVP Teens is a leadership and community-development program for youth aged 13 – 19 in Waterloo Region.

Through discussions with community leaders, volunteering, fundraising and grant-making, SVP Teens participants are prepared and empowered to address the problems facing their community.

Once SVP Teens members decide on an area of focus, they raise funds, research the issue/area they have selected, solicit and evaluate grant applications from local nonprofits, conduct site visits, and make annual grants.

Since the program’s founding, SVP Teens Grants have been awarded to:
