Bill 148: Your Questions Answered
May 10 @ 11:45 am - 1:00 pm
You may have heard of a little thing called Bill 148: Fair Workplaces, Better Jobs Act, 2017. Impacting everything from the minimum wage to leaves of absence and contract work to scheduling, this bill has also put into effect significant changes to Ontario’s Employment Standards Act.
Not sure how this will affect your organization? You’re not alone! Because of the bill’s length and scope, there are a lot of questions about how its implementation will impact nonprofit employers and employees alike.
