Executive Director

Social Venture Partners (SVP) Vancouver is a charitable foundation with an established history of leadership in actively supercharging the founding or growth of passionate and innovative non-profits in Greater Vancouver. SVP Vancouver is built around a network of engaged philanthropists who invest their time, money, and professional expertise to build capacity in local non-profits. Through our model of venture philanthropy, we make significant, long-term, positive social change in our community.

SVP Vancouver’s next Executive Director will lead our charitable foundation through its next phase of evolution and growth. Reporting to the board of directors and supporting a staff team of 5.5, the ED will help develop strategic direction and will lead the organization’s execution across existing and new programs and initiatives. As a beacon of leadership at the intersection of our network of philanthropists, our family of supported local non-profits, the broader local ecosystem and our international venture philanthropy network, SVP Vancouver’s Executive Director will guide our mission towards greater impact for the benefit of at-risk children and youth in Greater Vancouver.


Communications Manager

This is a part-time position (3 days a week) with full benefits and flexible work options. The role complements a solid team and a fantastic organization doing meaningful and great work in our community. SVP’s Communications Manager will lead and deploy communications strategies that focus on stakeholder engagement and fund development. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, compelling, and articulate communicator, a creative story-teller, a newsletter maven.
