Power to Play Vancouver 2019

Power To Play challenges you to a one-of-a-kind team-building event.
Across a series of 15 challenges, the event will test your team’s ability to communicate, cooperate and push what is physically possible. Racers training for the event can expect to run (or walk) approximately 10 kilometers between challenges, problem solve, swim, wade, crawl through muddy terrain, haul heavy loads, paddle across open water and much more!

Power to Play brings together inspiring businesses including Borden Ladner Gervais, Newmont Goldcorp, TELUS, Helijet, BMO, Cassels Brock Lawyers, Beedie and The Globe and Mail and unites them under one goal: To raise $320,000 to support inclusive outdoor recreation programs with Power To Be.
The registration fee is $1,600 for a team of 4 people.
Registration includes entry into a pre-event fundraising countdown party on August 21, where you’ll get to mingle with the other teams and be given support tools, incentives, prizes, and free food and drink.
Event day is September 19 in Stanley Park, rain or shine, followed by an after party.

What makes up a team?
All teams have four racers on the course, and we encourage companies to support racer’s fundraising efforts leading up to the event. All racers must be 19+ years of age. The team can be made of colleagues or friends that support your business.
How much money are teams expected to raise?
Teams are challenged to raise a minimum of $3,500—but don’t be intimidated! There’s plenty of fundraising support and Power to Be would be thrilled to have SVP Partners and colleagues participate, regardless of how much you’re able to fundraise. Even a little bit counts and what they really want to do it get the word out about the event.
I want to be involved, but do I have to participate in the race?
Nope, there are volunteer opportunities as well.
