SVP is bold and bright—and we look a little bit different in each community. We invite you to get engaged in a personal way as you explore this website by selecting your own colors!
It starts with one person. One person joins many people. Together we help strengthen our communities and contribute to a better world.
Social Venture Partners is an international network of engaged philanthropists who invest time, money and professional expertise in local non-profits. Our mission is to build the capacity of our investees and strengthen their impact to create sustainable outcomes and positive social change. Here in Vancouver, we focus on helping non-profits that serve children in-need and youth at-risk.
Established in 2001, SVP Vancouver* has contributed over $3 million dollars and thousands of volunteer hours to 40+ non-profits in our local community. Local success stories include Take A Hike Youth-at-Risk Foundation, Athletics for Kids, KidSafe, The F.O.R.C.E., Yo Bro Youth Initiative Society, One-To-One Literacy Society, and many, many others.
Helping individuals realize greater impact with their giving, building the capacity of nonprofits, solving complex social issues, and investing in collaborative solutions – we make connections that make a difference. Connections that unleash potential.
That’s SVP. A global network of local partners aligning passion and purpose.*Social Venture Partners Vancouver and SVP Vancouver are operating names of BC Social Venture Partners Foundation; we are incorporated under the Society Act in British Columbia (S-42026) and a Registered Charity in Canada (#86668 3196 RR0001).
