Mona Lee Locke is a seasoned leader and communications expert. She was previously a diplomat, journalist and First Lady of Washington State. She served as National Operations Director for Susan G. Komen, co-chaired the Governor’s Commission on Early Learning, and created the Foundation for Early Learning. She sits on the boards of Seattle Children’s Hospital, the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, and Lakeside School. In Beijing, she worked with the State Department Economics section to lead a series of Women CEO forums promoting partnerships and mentorship. She holds a Masters in journalism from Northwestern University. She completed Harvard Business School’s program in Governing for Non-Profit Leadership. She has received numerous recognitions including the Edward R. Murrow Regional Excellence Award, the Champion of Youth Award, and the Helen S. Jackson Medal of Valor.
