Quarterfinalists have been chosen for the For-Profit and Non-Profit categories of this year’s program BUT there remains a few days for Student Ventures to step forward and apply. It is striking that two of the three Youth Ventures from last year were innovative in simple and powerful ways.

Youth Ambassadors and Innovii knocked our socks off last year at each pitch round from Quarterfinals to Semi-finals to the Final Showdown. These two student ideas required little technology to be innovative and socially impactful! What they had going for them was the brilliance of their fundamental ideas for how to help students achieve goals be they academic or entrepreneurial.

Want to be inspired to show off your Student Venture idea and apply to the Fast Pitch Program this year? Watch Olivia and Jason deliver their Final Pitches at the Final Showdown.  There is still time for a student with great ideas to apply to Fast Pitch!

Youth Ambassadors develop learners who become leaders through compassionate service to the community.  They won the $4,000 1st place Ashoka Award.

Innovii strives to give students the opportunity to think creatively and act innovatively beyond the norms of high school opportunities.  Through the use of micro loans and youth entrepreneurship, Innovii challenges you to think abstractly and develop novel ideas.  This group is run by university students and won the $1,000 2nd place Ashoka Award.
