Based on her vast experiences as an Emmy-nominated journalist and a former diplomat in China, Mona Locke provides unique global expertise on a wide variety of topics – including women’s issues, US-China dynamics, NGO’s, education, culture and society, public affairs, and bi-lateral trade issues.  She hosted a live audience program for the State Department called US-China Focus with Mona Locke and has interviewed world leaders ranging from President Jimmy Carter to former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Susan G. Komen Puget Sound hosts the 11th Annual Power of a Promis LuncheonAdditionally, as a seasoned non-profit executive, she understands and cares deeply for the power of community.  She founded the Foundation for Early Learning, was the Executive Director of Susan G. Komen, Puget Sound and later served as its National Operations Director in Washington DC. Locke currently serves as a trustee for Seattle Children’s Hospital, sits on the Advisory Council for the 100K Strong Foundation, a 501c3 created from President Obama’s initiative, and was appointed to and served as Special Advisor to the EducationUSA program for the State Department.
