Social innovation thrives in the Puget Sound thanks to programs like SVP Fast Pitch Seattle. The 2014 program of Fast Pitch Seattle officially began in mid-May. Online applications are being accepted through July 1st for non-profit and for profit tracks. Student Innovators have an extra 30 days to get organized and apply by July 30th.
Are you already clear that you want to apply to SVP Fast Pitch Seattle 2014? Great! Declare your intention by creating an application account even if you are still sorting out some details. The first step is starting your application. If you need or want some assistance in fine tuning your application we have the perfect solution.
The trio of Jumpstart Workshops in June are designed to help Social Innovators determine if they have what they need to complete their Fast Pitch application and submit a strong and compelling application by midnight on July 1st.
These business building workshops are open to all. They are also valuable events for any organization working on their business plan, financial models, and marketing strategy—you don’t have to just be applying to Fast Pitch to attend.
Enjoy the bonus of prime networking time with fellow innovators and entrepreneurs, coaches and Fast Pitch volunteers that precedes the interactive evening workshop. These events are ideal opportunities to learn about three key areas of what makes a memorable and compelling Business Pitch.
Register today for one, two, or the whole series:
Designing for Humans (June 11) Where to begin? It’s about defining your demographic, understanding your market, and creating problem-based solutions to build your organization.

Marketing, Sales, and Social Impact (June 27). Learn about tangible ways to market your product/service to the right audience, define best practices to close deals, and how to communicate across a range of situations –and why social impact measurement is important.

“I didn’t know how far I had to go. I went from not being able to sell my way out of a paper bag to winning a competition.” Christopher Eide of Teacher’s United, a winning finalist in the non-profit track who also was given the award for Most Improved Pitch
