Ajay Zachariah

Ajay has 20+ years of experience in healthcare business development in both clinical and commercial roles. Ajay was President of an imaging diagnostic service company where he coordinated its successful acquisition by a large hospital system in 2011. He also was the Executive Director for operations, growth and strategy at the largest independent ultrasound service company in the Northwest. Ajay likes running, playing tennis, and spending time with his family that includes 3 active sons. He also enjoys volunteering for charitable fundraising events. Read More »

Brian Stout

Brian Stout is an independent consultant specializing in policy solutions to combat income inequality. Current professional interests include paid family leave, gender equality and masculinity, and how to sustain a thriving middle class in a globalizing world. Brian's background is in foreign policy, human rights, and international development. He worked most recently as a strategy consultant at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation here in Seattle, helping to design and execute a pivot of the $2 billion Agricultural Development portfolio. Elaine Kissell

Elaine is a passionate, action-oriented individual who is energized by the idea of helping her surrounding community. After attending school on the east coast, she is thrilled to be back in Seattle. Katherine Lebo & Jeremy Van Tassel

Jeremy is a second-generation member of SVP, having been raised in Minnesota by Minneapolis SVP Members Steve and Jane VanTassel. He participated in the SVP teens program there in high school, and found a real appreciation for the organization's impact on investee organizations, even at a smaller scale. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2013 with a BA in Comparative Politics and a Minor in Chinese. Kat is originally from San Francisco, and graduated from UPS in 2014, where she earned a BA in Anthropology and Sociology and minored in Spanish. She now works as a Technical Recruiter for a technical consulting company in Bellevue. Read More »

Laura & Blair Dillaway

Blair and Laura Dillaway joined SVP in 2017 in order to expand, and improve the impact of their philanthropic activities. They have lived in the Seattle area for over 30 years. Since the mid-2000s they have become increasingly involved with local arts and social services organizations. At present, Laura serves on the Board of the Bellevue Arts Museum and has been a docent there since 2004. Blair currently serves on the Board of Hopelink and does volunteer work for them as well as for the Cascade Bicycle Club’s Major Taylor Project serving disadvantaged youth. Read More »

Linda Perlstein & John Miller

Linda is a consultant specializing in education and workforce issues. Clients have included the Aspen Institute, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Center on Reinventing Public Education. She helped launched the Amazon Books chain, spent a decade as a journalist at the Washington Post, wrote the books Not Much Just Chillin' and Tested, and serves on the board of Friends of the Children. John has been a software engineer for 30 years. After four decades in Maryland, he moved to Seattle with his wife and son in 2010 to work in online advertising for Amazon. Read More »

Linda Zachariah

Linda is an intellectual property attorney with over 15 years of experience working with Seattle and Silicon Valley area start-ups and larger technology companies. She currently is General Counsel at Twistle, Inc., a digital medical startup company. Prior to working at Twistle, Linda was Of Counsel at Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt and Blakely Sokoloff Taylor and Zafman, a Bay Area IP boutique law firm. Linda holds a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. Read More »

Matt Stemple

Matt Stemple is passionate about building environmentally sustainable communities that allow humans and nature to thrive together. Matt has significant experience working in the field of urban forestry and through his work seeks to create healthy, sustainable, and accessible urban forests. When not climbing a tree or working in his woodshop, Matt can be found hiking, climbing the nearest mountain, riding his bicycle, or planning his next adventure. Matt currently lives in Seattle, WA. Megan Johnston

Megan Johnston is the Executive Director of the Stryker Johnston Foundation. Megan currently leads the Foundation’s efforts to change the cycle of generational poverty. In this role, she calls upon her experience in the public service sector, where she has spent over a decade focusing on youth development, poverty alleviation, and collaborative governance. Megan is also a certified yoga instructor, and in her free time you can find her practicing and sharing yoga with others, enjoying the outdoors, reading, connecting with family and friends, and traveling to and exploring new places. Melinda and Evan Loeffler

Melinda and Evan Loeffler joined SVP to give back to local nonprofits in ways that support long term success and to engage more fully with their community. Melinda manages and directs video production projects for nonprofit clients at Hand Crank Films. She recently co-created fundraising videos for SVP investees Zeno and Open Arms. Melinda also handles the marketing and communications for the Loeffler Law Group PLLC. Evan is the principal attorney for the Loeffler Law Group PLLC, a real estate firm emphasizing residential and commercial landlord-tenant relations. Evan regularly writes and teaches on the subjects of ethics and landlord-tenant law. Evan earned his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law, Spokane. Read More »

Michelle Chamberlain

Michelle Van Sant Chamberlain joined SVP Seattle in 2017 to engage more meaningfully with local community non-profits and others looking to do the same. Michelle is from South Pasadena, California and went to undergrad at UC Santa Barbara. After a brief two years working as a Public Affairs Coordinator for the Rape Treatment Center in Santa Monica, she moved to Seattle in 1992. She received her master’s in Organizational Psychology and went on to work at Boeing and Washington Mutual before finally returning to the non-profit sector as the Global Leadership Development Manager for SightLife. Michelle is now a Sr. Development Associate at SVP International. Michelle lives in Ballard with her two teenaged kids. Read More »

Nicole Bell

Nicole is a Founder of Cambia Grove and its Executive Director. She brings strategic real-world experience from successfully leading change for health care delivery systems and health plans that have proven invaluable to Cambia Grove partners and participants. When not working her (mostly) day job, Nicole enjoys a few favorite outdoor activities with her two kids, like hiking, snowboarding, and camping. Quieter moments include reading novels and checking out independent music and films. One day Nicole’s goal is to slow down enough to realize her dream of living abroad – or in Ojai – but for now, she’d love to relax with a soak in an Icelandic hot pot. Read More »

Solynn McCurdy

Solynn is currently the Senior Manager of Community Relations for Premera Blue Cross – the largest health plan in the Pacific Northwest. In this role, he provides leadership and direction for the company’s corporate social responsibility programs. Previously, he served as Director of External Affairs at Seattle University. Solynn has also worked in various management capacities in the private and nonprofit sectors. He has designed and implemented strategies in youth development, community engagement, and education advocacy with organizations such as Washington STEM, Alliance for Education, the Pacific Institute, College Success Foundation, and the YMCA of Greater Seattle. Tina Maloney

Tina is a Principal at Perennial Leadership a boutique consulting firm that specialized in the development of corporate cultures and executive teams. Tina has been in the health care space for over 20 years and recently has been asking the question of how to build the bridge between leadership development and community development. Read More »
