Major Gift Fundraising Workshop Recap

Last week, we hosted a Major Gifts Fundraising workshop led by SVP Partner, Dan Peddie. It was generously hosted by Corporate Alliance of San Diego and included about 40 local nonprofit leaders. Dan gave an illuminating lesson on how nonprofits can cultivate and groom their donors to start making major gifts and how to create a recurring major gift program within their organization. From sweeping perspective shifts like moving from asking what a donor might be able to give to your organization to thinking what can we give to the donor, to the nitty gritty of how to prepare your donor base for a major gifts cycle, Dan condensed his years of experience into two-hours of engaging tips and best practices. SVP Partner to Become JIT's Vice Chair

We are proud to announce that Partner, Lauren Silverman, has just been elected to the Vice President Chair of the Just in Time for Foster Youth Board of Directors. Lauren began her work with Just In Time for Foster Youth about a year ago, when SVP selected the organization as our new Investee. Prior to this experience, foster youth was not an issue that was even on Lauren’s radar.
