SDSVP offers a range of support to nonprofits within San Diego County.
Funding: SDSVP Partners pool their resources and make unrestricted grants to local organizations (called “Investees”). The issues supported by SDSVP and the grant eligibility requirements will change during each grantmaking period.
Our 2017 funding focus area is Poverty and/or Homelessness Alleviation. Applications are now being accepted, until March 15, 2017. For details including eligibility, visit our Focus Area Funding Cycle page. To view a list of past funding topics and nonprofits, visit Nonprofits We Fund.
Pro Bono Consulting: SDSVP Partners want to do more than write a check. Once we make a grant to an Investee, we also work with the nonprofit to develop a plan for our Partners to contribute their professional skills to build the capacity of that Investee.
Resource Teams: Sometimes nonprofits can benefit from the counsel and perspective of SDSVP Partners who come from a wide variety of business backgrounds. A Resource Team is a one time meeting between SDSVP Partners and a San Diego nonprofit that has requested specific assistance in one or more capacity building areas. They are not one of our Investees and will not receive any funding. *Please note, any San Diego nonprofit may apply here*
