At Our Chapter

We amplify your impact in Pune and beyond. We connect funders, businesses, and individuals with local non-profits and social organizations to forge positive & dynamic change. We help you do more—with the right combination of time, treasure, talent, ties, and training. SVP India, Pune Chapter is a support system for philanthropists & NGOs and a catalyst for change.

The Pune Chapter of SVP India was launched in 2014 and since then has worked with over 15 grass-root organizations and more than 100 like-minded individuals who believe in creating impact. Along with individual philanthropists, our Chapter launched the Corporate Partnership Program in early 2020. It is aimed at companies who wish to provide the SVP experience to their senior executives. The organization nominees to SVP partake of the diverse learning and growth opportunities like focused learning sessions, workshops, NGO visits, Chapter Committees, and hands-on volunteering opportunities at NGOs.

The evening was a testament to the unwavering power of compassion, which united over 100 people for one cause, that of supporting social good.

The evening saw the generous community of Pune come together and commit a sum of over 2.35 crores in support of the presenting non-profits. The amount is significant and will help the non-profit founders make a notable difference in the communities they support.

SVP coached 8 Pune-based non-profits over two months and provided them with a platform to present their compelling stories in a 5-minute pitch that communicates who they are, what they do, why they do it, and the impact a donor’s support can make.

Attendees gained insights into fundamental social media concepts, essential content creation tools, platform dynamics, and the art of analytics.

Kalpana: She for STEM’ Program by our investee NGO VigyanShaala International kickstarted at the Fergusson College and more than 250+ students and teachers attended the full day session. iTeach and SVP started working together 2 years ago and it’s been an insightful and supportive experience. As our first batch of first-generation learners, SVP and iTeach came together to enable them to get their first jobs! The insights from the SVP partners were critical here, and we are continuing to refine our programs basis their advice.

Being a part of a network of like-minded individuals always creates a sense of community; where one can learn and share. My best learnings have been listening to a lot to several voices – the leadership of the NGO and the personnel who work there, community stakeholders, SVP India Partners as well as the management team
