Looking for a way to give back to the community by applying the expertise you’ve developed during your career?
The Encore Fellows program matches seasoned professionals with nonprofits in need of professional expertise. Each Encore Fellow receives a financial stipend ($10,000-$20,000) for their 1,000 hours of service as well as skill-building in nonprofit management. Our goal: “to retire retirement” and give experienced professionals the chance to make deep community impact in the “encore” of their lives.
SVP has placed more than 300 Fellows since the program began. In 2016, SVP placed 224 Intel retirees and contributed more than $5.2M in fellowship grants to Oregon nonprofits.
