Since the launch of the initial campaign, on-time registrations county-wide have risen from 80.4 percent in 2011 to 86 percent in 2013. Across the “demonstration site” schools that are working closely with the Collaborative on Kindergarten transition issues, the percent of students registered on-time increased from 67.5 to 84 percent.
Through the new investment process, KairosPDX emerged as an audacious, highly collaborative organization with an innovative vision for eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in kindergarten readiness.
